Everglades

The Everglades park is an National Park.

Location: South of Florida, next to Miami and Tomiami Trail – in the north up to Lake Okeechchobee to the southwest part of the Florida islands

Size: 9 square kilometers swamp

Special:  4000 different plants, 400 different birds, 300 different types of fishes,68 arts are danger animals, 10.000 islands, Native people.

In the park is a very big river: on some parts it is 60 kilometers breadthways.

The heights point of the national park isn’t higher than 2.4 meters!

The water of Everglades is been taken by drinking water for Miami – that’s a big problem, because Everglades can be died without water.
