The Miccosukkee are an native Americans.

Location: Live in Everglades national park, the south of Florida.

Living: They live as a big family in their houses and there live very much people in one house.

They’ve got three special Miccosukkee festivals with bonfire’s.

They plant green corn for his own medicine and eating to bubbly their own needle.

They’ve got special Names and another world view.

The Indian village: It’s a museum just 30 minutes west of the Florida Turnpike where you can find some information’s about their living, live and culture. Be captivated as our Tribesmen perform live demonstrations with alligators. Explore the Everglades on airboat rides, which pass through the untamed “River of Grass” and stop at an authentic, hammock-style Indian Camp that has been owned by the same Miccosukee family for over 100 years. Discover the beauty of native plants and view alligators, birds and other species of wildlife in their natural habitat.

Visit our Gift Shop for genuine, handmade Native Indian art and craft, inclusive of Miccosukee patchwork, beadwork and jewelry. Taste authentic, local cuisine such as fry breads and Indian tacos at the Miccosukee Restaurant. The Miccosukee Indian Village is home to the annual Miccosukee Indian Arts Festival and Miccosukee Everglades Music & Crafts Festival.

The museum opened everyday from 9 o’clock am to 5pm. It was founded in 1983.
